Why Choose Us

At Avia Home Health Care, your safety and well-being are our top priorities. We are fully licensed by the Minnesota Department of Health and carry comprehensive insurance for your peace of mind.
Every caregiver on our team undergoes a thorough state background check, ensuring only qualified and trustworthy individuals enter your home.
Most importantly, we treat every client with the same kindness, respect, and compassion we would offer our own family. Because to us, you are family.

What to expect

Once a referral is received, we will perform a free comprehensive assessment to understand you or your loved one’s unique needs. Based on this assessment, we will create a personalized care plan designed to support daily living, promote independence, and help achieve meaningful goals.

We then thoughtfully match each client with a caregiver who is best suited to carry out the care plan.

Who do you serve?

We serve individuals, young and old, who have some acute or chronic disability who need some assistance so they can stay in the comforts of their home.

We also provide respite care to caregivers who may need some time to care for themselves.

What types of payment do you accept?

We are only accepting private pay for now. In the future, we look to also provide care through private insurance, long term care insurance, VA Community Care and the elderly waiver program.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is my caregiver chosen?

We understand how important it is for you to be comfortable and feel safe with the people we send into your home. That’s why we take the time to select the “right” person for you. Our caregivers and health professionals are recruited, screened, tested and trained to ensure that they meet our company’s personal and professional standards and, most importantly, meet our client’s standards. We match your home care needs to the skills, qualities, and expertise of our caregivers. Occasionally, you may have different caregivers while you are receiving care but you can trust that they all are qualified professionals. Periodically, we evaluate each caregiver’s performance against industry-standard criteria as well as our own standards for quality to make sure all employees are meeting our expectations. We also ask for your evaluation of our performance because only you can tell us whether we’re doing a good job.

Do you provide free consultations before we decide on home care?

Yes, our initial client intake is complimentary. We take this time to educate the potential client and their family so they can make an educated decision.

What if I only need help for a while?

Short-term, long-term or intermittent care is available. Everyone’s needs are different—we work to find the solution that is best for you.
